'In Complete' | April 2 - 25, 2026

I'm pleased to announce a new show at Shift Gallery in April!

Opening/First Thursday Art Walk: April 2, 5-8 pm
Art Demo and Unfinished Projects Day: Saturday, April 11, starting at 1:00pm
Artists’ Chat with Stephanie Krimmel and Amanda Triplett: Saturday, April 25, 2-4pm

Since 2018, I have been creating a digital painting every day. Originally started to regain my creative energy and learn something new, this practice has evolved into an exploratory and abstract time-based self-portrait. Inspiration for the daily works comes from the physical and natural environment, my emotions and experiences. The finished pieces are like time capsules, each containing the artifacts of a particular moment in time and space.

As a whole, this series is called the Daily Art Habit and contains more than 2800 images – most produced in continuum, where the daily painting is a continuation of the previous days’ work. As an ongoing project, it is both whole and incomplete at the same time.

In Complete features new paper installations that capture the “entirety” of a series that is always growing. The process of examining and re-configuring all my work from the past seven years unearths memories and uncovers connections, giving the work new meaning with each installation.

Shift Gallery is located at 312 S. Washington Street in Seattle, and is open Fridays and Saturdays 11-4.
