Some artists are really struggling during the pandemic.
While it’s my goal to become a self-supporting artist, I’m not there yet, and support myself primarily through my consulting business. Not all artists have alternate income sources, so I’ve decided to join the Artist Support Pledge to help support artists during the pandemic.
Starting Wednesday August 26, I will be having virtual studio sale. For every $1000 of artwork sold, I pledge to spend $200 on another artist’s work.
UPDATE: I made my goal! Thanks to all who made purchases from my studio sale. I now have some new works from artists I admire as a result of spending my pledge. It feels good to see artists supporting artists.
