Asynchrony 4 is largely inspired by the tension of contrasts at Saltwater Park, a former gravel pit in the process of becoming a natural space. The soft edge of sand on the beach is parallel to train tracks that regularly rumble and screech with activity. Pieces of rusting steel can be found in beds of soft and delicate ferns. This piece was made from November 6 - December 15, 2020 during my artist residency in the park.
Asynchrony 4 is available as a single-edition archival print, unframed. The image area is 32x24" and it is printed with a 3" border, total paper size is 38x30".
