No. 86 Northwest Avocado Tree

No. 86 Northwest Avocado Tree

After sprouting an avocado seed, I thought I'd put it outside on our patio in Seattle and see what happened. Three winters later, it's almost three feet tall and growing. No flowers or fruit, but incredibly robust, and the inspiration for this work, which was made in honor of National Avocado Day.

Digital painting created with iPad Pro and Adobe Photoshop Sketch, 2018.
