Sue Springer and I are at it again! We’re making another collaborative flag, similar to “Election Therapy” from last year. This one is called “Creative Freedom” and is a work-in-progress on display in Shift Gallery’s window space in October in conjunction with Sue’s “This is What Democracy Looks Like” exhibit.

You are invited to participate! We’re bringing people together to collage, draw, write, and express themselves as Americans. These community contributions will be added to the flag throughout the month. Come whenever the gallery is open to add your voice! I will be there during the First Thursday Art Walk (October 2, 5-8pm), and on Saturday October 11 between 12:30 and 4.

Shift Gallery is located at 312 S Washington Street and open Fridays and Saturdays 11-4.
